I have worked as a hair and make-up artist for more than 20 years to become one of the most sought after make-up artists in the UK. I work with international designers, photographers and celebrities with work appearing in magazines and newspapers including Elle, the Times, Daily Telegraph and Marie Claire. I create stunning looks for my clients, from effortlessly natural to cool and contemporary. I use my extensive knowledge of products, colour and texture to enhance their look, lending an underlying confidence to everything I do for them.
My signature style is gorgeously flawless skin. I work to bring out a natural beauty and confidence in my clients – to look and feel great. These include actors; Catherine Zeta Jones, Gillian Anderson, Minnie Driver, Alfre Woodard, Emilia Fox, Dame Maggie Smith, Dame Helen Mirren, Marianne Jean Baptiste, Lesley Manville, Jim Broadbent, Stephen Fry, Michael Simkins and Timothy Spall.
Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne are two of the fashion stars I have worked with. Other clients include music legends Bjork, Debbie Harry, Noel Gallagher and The Scissor Sisters.
Having worked on fashion shoots and commercial advertising campaigns all over the world, I have gained a vast experience in creating hair and makeup working alongside photographers such as Paul Farrell, Marcello Benfield, Nicky Johnson, Lorenzo Agius, David Bailey, Chris Dawes, Elizabeth Hoff, Mary McCartney, Anton Corbijn, Alfred Bailey, Jonathan Knowles and Heather Favell.
I was a regular presenter on BBC makeover programme Style Challenge for four years, performed master classes for GMTV (now Good Morning Britain), and also worked on ITV’s This Morning as a beauty commentator.
I am able to bring these skills to life in front of the camera and as an established expert on beauty, I am often quoted in magazines and newspapers, and am a recommended expert on Beauty Bible.
Communication is the key to my approach and is really important during one-to-one tutorials, presenting in front of the camera or working in a busy shoot environment.
My proven communication skills led me to be signed to global beauty brand Clinique, as well as Rimmel London, Boots No7 and Marks & Spencer. I know how to translate my understanding of products into ranges that are not only on trend, but have mass appeal to the customer.
I have an intuitive understanding of colour and texture to create the looks that work for celebrities, editors and photographers alike. You can see my work in magazines, on TV and on the red carpet. Combined with a natural warmth that has made me the go-to expert for many brands, I have used my working knowledge to help each brand hone their ranges and build product profile.
